Title
Numerical methods for Bogoliubov-de Gennes excitations of Bose-Einstein condensates
Abstract
•For solving BdGEs, the ground states can be chosen as real functions.•For harmonic traps, the lowest positive excitation is the trapping frequency.•For 2D radial harmonic traps, there is a radial excitation twice the frequency.•Sine-spectral method is spectrally accurate for solving BdGEs.•The LOBP4DCG is efficient for solving the discrete BdGEs.
