Title
Optimal Configuration of DC-DC Converters in DC Distribution Network
Abstract
Improving the operating efficiency of DC distribution network is one of the key problems in DC field. In this paper, an optimal configuration strategy of DC-DC converters was carried out to improve the operating efficiency of DC distribution network. Firstly, the energy conversion efficiency-load rate character of DC-DC converters was explained. Secondly an optimization model was established with the highest average operating efficiency and the lowest installation charge as the objective functions to optimize the converter model and capacity of each node. Then, the improved non-dominant sequencing genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) was used to solve the Pareto optimal solution of the multi-objective optimization, and the optimal allocation scheme was obtained. Finally, a model of DC distribution network with double single-ring structure was built. Based on the model, the effectiveness of the proposed optimal configuration strategy was verified.
