Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
The implementation of embedded VSC-HVDC-systems provides additional transfer capacities and reactive power compensation to the existing AC-system. They can increase the system security of the transmission grid, which is guranteed by optimal power flow calculations. This article shows different concepts to calculate optimal setpoints for HVDC-systems. Multi-objective optimization problems are solved by different solvers, both deterministic and metaheuristic ones. Furthermore, the solvers are compared and evaluated on a test system and finally check their aptitude. |
