Spatial multiplexing by joint superposed signal and power diversity for a <tex>$2\times 2$</tex> MIMO VLC system
Abstract
In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a power diversity scheme joint superposed signal to realize the spatial multiplexing in a formulated 2×2 Visible Light Communication (VLC) Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system. Various superposed signal structures are achieved by setting a proportionality factor, which used to multiply to the transmitted signal. Subsequently, we employ Look-Up Table (LUT) to separate the superposed signals in each Receiver (Rx). A data rate of 1.75Gbit/s is achieved over 1.05-m with the Bit Error Rate (BER) less than the threshold.
