An Efficient Power Consumption Method of IoT Device in Moving Network Environment
Abstract
This paper is a method to contribute to the reduction of the latency and the power consumption of the IoT Device in Moving Network. Concerning the “Further latency and power consumption reduction” in the Further NB-IoT enhancements” discussed in the 3GPP LTE standard group. At the 3GPP TSG-RAN # 99 conference, various companies submitted their contributions. An idea for more efficient low-latency and reduced power consumption has been proposed. The quick RRC Connection Release issue among the RRC Connection Release Enhancements can speed up the RRC Connection Release RRC Connection Suspend procedure between the UE and eNB so that the UE can quickly disconnect from the peer, there is again. In this paper, we propose two methods. The method 1 to solve the problem of the RRC Connection Release (RCR) message transfer to the RLCUM mode and the method 2 to implement the autonomous RRC connection release among the proposed methods for RC Connection Release Enhancements.
