Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
•Based on a general scheme of counting limit cycle of a given LLS equation we have proposed a recipe for multi-rhythmicity.•For polynomial damping and restoring force functions we have constructed birhythmic and tri-rhythmic oscillators of Van der Pol and Rayleigh families.•New alternative generalizations of Van der Pol and Rayleigh families of bi-rhythmicity and tri-rhythmicity.•The scheme is used to simulate the valid range of parameters for realizing limit cycle oscillations with different generalizations of bi-rhythmic and tri-rhythmic, Rayleigh and Van der Pol families.•As multi-rhythmicity plays an important role in switching transitions between different dynamical states, its control and manipulation would be useful. |
