Title
Ant Colony System-Based E-Supermarket Website Link Structure Optimization.
Abstract
The webgraph link structure of an E-supermarket website is different from static websites. E-commerce companies want to make the browsing experience of their customers hassle free. This can be done by frequently rearranging the link structure of the website according to changing browsing patterns of the users. Only few methods have been developed to optimally design the link structure of an E-supermarket website. In this paper, an ant colony system (ACS) is used to optimize the link structure of E-supermarket website. It has been observed that the ant colony-based method improves the link structure by decreasing the overall weighted distance between webpages. The performance issues of ACS-based method for E-supermarket link structure optimization are also presented.
