Title
Estimating the Binding and Unbinding Rate of Motor Protein from Mitochondrial Motion
Abstract
Axonal transport plays an important role in neuronal growth, survival and function. Automatic parameters estimation of mitochondrial motion in a large quantity remains challenging. We propose a method imaging and quantifying mitochondrial movement. The method consists of tracking mitochondrial motion from fluorescent images and estimating binding and unbinding rate based on HMM (hidden Markov model). The estimation considers not only statistic method but also the mechanism of mitochondrial transport, which indicates the environment of axons. The method allowed us to detect the mitochondrial environment based on the binding and unbinding rate.
