Title
The Sitting Posture Monitoring Method Based on Notch Sensor
Abstract
Being in bad sitting posture for a long time will cause serious injury to human body, such as myopia, humpback, cervical spine diseases. This paper classifies sitting posture according to medical research, and collects data from the sitting posture of sedentary people in daily work and study based on Notch sensor wearable device and Android smartphone. By extracting 8 characteristic values such as euler Angle and axis data, a sitting posture classification model based on threshold value and k-nearest neighbor algorithm was established to realize real-time monitoring and sitting posture analysis of the sedentary people. Experiments show that the system can identify poor sitting posture with 98 percents accuracy, providing a scientific basis for improving the sub-health caused by poor sitting posture.
