Performance Analysis of Filter Bank Multicarrier Spread Spectrum with Biorthogonal Signaling |

Filter bank multicarrier spread spectrum (FBMCSS) has proven to be a robust and reliable waveform choice for communication in harsh channels. In previous works, the impact of channel frequency selectivity on the M-PSK FBMC-SS waveform has been studied, and it has been found that it results in a relatively low performance degradation. This paper extends this theory to FBMC-SS with biorthogonal signaling – a spread spectrum signaling method which increases the spectral efficiency while improving on E

. Presented theory is confirmed with simulated results, and found that the behavior follows that of the M-PSK case. |
