With increased research achievements in the field of evolutionary computation, accurate identification and analysis of co-authorship characteristics have become more important than before. Therefore, in this study, a co-authorship network was used to analyze the aspects of collaboration in the evolutionary computation field. Decennial co-authorship networks were constructed using a bibliography database, following which analyses of the macroscopic network properties and aspect changes of authors who play a central role were conducted. In particular, for macroscopic features, the results were compared with those from the entire computer science field to derive the differences.
