Abstract
•The equivalent transformation condition is with more general form.•An augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with few decision variables is constructed in line with decomposed state vectors.•The tighter integral inequality is applied to estimate the constructed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional.•Theoretical comparisons and numerical examples show the advantages of the adopted state decomposition method.
