Microgrid systems have established a firm stepping stone in recent years for power grid digital transformation and decentralization. Regarding complex energy loads such as transportation systems, overcoming Microgrid design difficulties sometimes proves to be a challenge. In this paper, a hybrid Microgrid model is designed for a subway station. The Microgrid aims to supply the lighting system with photovoltaic energy, also integrating a battery system to provide a stable power flow management. Furthermore, a hierarchical control structure is designed, with voltage and current controllers managed by a central control unit. The model is validated with a specific load profile and simulations are conducted in different environmental scenarios. |
