Title
Tracking Targets using Digital Beamforming.
Abstract
Anti aircraft systems have the objective of reducing or mitigating actions involving the detection and disabling of enemy aircraft reaching a significant area. These devices ought to be prepared to protect sensitive assets from high-altitude, high-speed enemy fighters assaults by working out accurate jet bombardments. Hence the computer system should be able to foresee the location glide path in order to defeat the targets before the precise missile strike. Amplitude monopulse radar system that is capable of calculating the projected target trajectory based on the MATLAB amplitude monopulse radar system. The 4 beams are generated with a single antenna feed which uses a pulse, Hence the name “Monopulse”. By developing 4 horn monopulse the elevation differences $\\Delta \\text{el}$ , azimuth difference $\\Delta\\text{az}$ and sum $\\Sigma$ of these beams are produced. Updating antenna design with single feature and squinted angle $\\Sigma(\\varphi)$ sum signal and difference signal $\\Delta(\\varphi)$ is calculated. By defining the signals S1 and S2 the error signal output is generated $\\varepsilon_{\\varphi}$ . The target\u0027s azimuth and elevation angle are determined, too. The intrinsic Kalman filter is capable of tracking maneuvering goals and SNR of the target is also calculated. The 4 feed horn beams are plotted in 75deg and 45deg where the ground level objectives and objectives such as aircraft are identified. From antenna viewpoint, the aim trajectories were found to be recorded in both the global coordinate system and the local coordinate system. Transmitted and received pulse are also detected. Kalman filter is used to get the location of truth and the expected location of the target is estimated and the goal\u0027s SNR is also calculated.
