Title
ARsinoë - Learning Egyptian Hieroglyphs with Augmented Reality and Machine Learning
Abstract
The "ARsinoë" project combines gamification, Augmented Reality (AR) and machine learning to discover Egyptian hieroglyphs in a single application for the smartphone or tablet. It targets K12 students in two ways. On the one hand, it offers new approaches to the study of hieroglyphs and thus Egyptian culture and history, on the other hand, the newly gained concepts can be transferred to the learning of languages with non-Latin writing systems.
