Evaluation of importance of system components is an important task in reliability analysis. It can be performed by identification of situations when improvement of any system component results in the improvement of the entire system. These situations are known as minimal cut vectors, and their detection plays a key role not only in evaluation of importance of the system components, but also in evaluation of system reliability or planning system maintenance. In this paper, we present a method for quantification of importance of system components based on minimal cut vectors by using logic differential calculus and multi-valued decision diagrams. |
