Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is easily affected by motion error during data acquisition. Motion errors are very complicated and their space-variant characteristic is studied in this paper. Compared with the original one-step motion compensation (OS-MOCO), the proposed precise one-step motion compensation (PROS-MOCO) takes into account the aperture-variant component of motion errors besides the range-variant one. For improving the compensating accuracy, the processing time of PROS-MOCO increases but still approaches that of factorized back projection (FBP). Finally, some simulated experiments have been carried out and validate the proposed algorithm. |
