In this paper, a small size, planar, dual-band antenna is proposed for ISM band applications. The antenna consists of a ground plane, a rectangular patch, and a microstrip feed line of 50 omega. The antenna patch is loaded with several slots to obtain dual resonances in the range of 902-928 MHz and 2400-2480 MHz, covering the lower and higher ISM band frequencies, respectively. The simulated and measured results are presented to validate the proposed antenna design. The specific absorption rate results show that the proposed antenna operates within the approved standard limits and can be used as a flexible antenna. |
