Abstract | ||

An approximately A4 paper size, 8×8 transmitter is designed for 5.7 GHz microwave power transmission targeting over 100 mW delivery in 3 m distance. The proposed tile-based design achieves up to 68.6 dBm EIRP in CW while maintaining power and cost-effective array scaling. The triangular grid array is employed and optimized as well. This guarantees over 65.0 dBm EIRP for the entire target angle, as well as perfectly grating lobe-free beam steering to avoid unacceptable interference on the existing wireless communication and radar systems. |
