This paper proposes a multi-criteria requirements risk estimation model, assisting software developers in assessing the potential risk of implementing requirements so that preventive actions can be taken to mitigate risk as early as possible. The proposed model employs the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to rank risks by combining multiple criteria. The proposal had been validated with the Industry practitioners and the initial results signify that it could be helpful to the software companies to foster customer value. |
