Efficient and accurate gradient flow methods for computing ground states of spinor Bose-Einstein condensates
Abstract
•GFLM is accurate and efficient for computing the ground states of general spinor BEC.•Various possible temporal discretizations and inexact projections are allowed.•For a semi-implicit scheme, only constant coefficient linear system has to be solved.•Two efficient inexact projections with explicit expressions are designed.•The fixed point of the GFLM is exactly the solution to the Euler-Lagrange equations.
