Title
A Prospect Theory-Based Three-Way Conflict Analysis Approach for Agent Evaluation
Abstract
Agent evaluation and selection is a critical part in collaboration. In the evaluation, how to analyze and assess the severity of conflicts b etween a gents i s a v ery i mportant issue. In this paper, we propose a prospect theory-based three-way conflict analysis approach. It takes into account the psychological factors and behaviors of decision-makers. With the decision-maker's reference point and the principle of maximizing prospect value, the decision rules for deriving conflict, neutral, and allied sets of agents are determined. The decision rules are simplified based on the computed thresholds. Then, we further consider the prospect theory-based three-way conflict a nalysis approach in dynamic information system, where the number of agents is added or deleted. Similarly, the decision process and decision rules in two dynamic conditions are also presented. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
