Abstract
•MCC-based fingerprint templates are protected and equipped with revocability, unlinkability and diversity.•The proposed Dyno-key model dynamically extracts MCC’s cell values and performs block-based logic operations.•The Dyno-key model yields cancelable fingerprint templates while preserving MCC’s recognition accuracy.•The Dyno-key model significantly enhances the security of the MCC representation.•The proposed cancelable MCC-based templates show competitive performance.
