Runoff monitoring in the Lhasa River Basin using passive microwave data
Abstract
•High resolution passive microwave data used to monitor runoff in the Tibetan Plateau.•Runoff by the M/C signal method matches observations well, with R greater than 0.9.•.M/C equals SWAT for the runoff simulation and outperforms during flood season.•M/C is more effective in areas with sparse vegetation and inverted trapezoid channel.
