The Internet of Things introduces new ethical challenges, particularly when deployed inside homes. Smart homes provide many conveniences, but they demand consideration to ensure that human dignity and fundamental rights are respected. In this article, we discuss and propose guidelines intended for developers and researchers to design ethical smart homes. |
