•This paper investigates a station location problem integrated with rebalancing vehicle service design for bike-sharing systems.•We present a two-stage robust optimization model to consider demand-related uncertainty.•We design a customized row generation algorithm to solve the two-stage robust optimization model.•Our algorithm can efficiently obtain exact solutions and has a higher computational efficiency than the scenario-based method.•We obtain near optimal solutions with high worst-case performance for a real-size problem. |
