•We present a novel connectome-to-connectome (C2C) transformation modeling framework.•The C2C models can predict individual task-specific connectomes from task-free connectome.•The C2C-transformed task connectomes outperform task-free data to predict behavior.•This approach quantitatively models how the brain reconfigures across mental states. |
