ABSTRACTIn recent years, the importance of the Internet in social life has become more and more prominent. From the anti-corruption of Weibo to the anti-trafficking on Weibo, almost all social hot events are participated and promoted by the Internet, which has attracted widespread attention from the public. Public opinion. The widespread use of new media has brought people into the era of national agenda setting. The influence of online media and the autonomy of the public are increasing day by day, and the main body and dominant position of traditional media setting public agendas are at risk. In the new media era, the setting of the agenda is no longer a "patent" of traditional media, but a process of participation and competition among traditional media, online media, and the public, which together affect the trend of public opinion. Based on traditional media, online media, and the daily issues of the public, supported by agenda setting theory, this article analyzes the process of agenda setting in the new media environment, and explores new media guidance in the new media environment.
