This paper studies the shock transition theory of one-dimensional elastic-perfectly plastic solid. The emphasis focuses on the properties of the elastic Hugoniot curves in Wilkins model with general Grüneisen-type equation of state (EOS) and arbitrary state ahead of a shock. These works can be generalized to plastic case. |
