Abstract
•A lightweight multi-joint robotic arm was designed and developed.•The built-in motor greatly simplifies the configuration of the robotic arm.•Nylon 6 material can meet the rigid strength requirements of lightweight robotic arms.•The speed and acceleration of each joint of the lightweight the robotic arm do not change suddenly during the operation.•Lightweight robotic arm pollination has greater advantages than traditional manual pollination.
