The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of blockchain technology on Internet user searches. Given that current IT trends are focused on blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, electronic voting, large volumes of data, transportation, and smart cities, we wanted to analyze the importance of the terms “blockchain, blockchain technology, blockchain and artificial intelligence, blockchain and IoT” at the level of Internet searches made by users. The present study has been interested in analyzing the distribution of the keywords mentioned above in the volume of Google user searches and in identifying the behavior of users as regards the finding of certain categories of information for the term “blockchain”. The user search behavior has been tracked, by analyzing found / extracted text. This is the way in which the present study has identified the relevance of long-tail keywords using the Keywords Everywhere tool. |
