WikiSym 2007: trip report
Abstract
From October 21st to 23rd of 2007, I had the pleasure of chairing the 3rd International Symposium on Wikis (WikiSym 2007) in my native town of Montréal, Canada. Robert Biddle (Carleton University) was program chair and the theme we had chosen for the event was "Wikis at Work in the World: Open, Organic and Participatory Media for the 21st Century". We saw this as an invitation for all attendants to think about the various ways in which wiki technologies and paradigms are and will keep changing the world. I'm happy to report that they did!
