Title
Using selective discard to improve real-time video quality on an ethernet local area network
Abstract
To support real-time MPEG video on Ethernet, a selective discard scheme can be implemented to trade-off the loss of more important MPEG “I” frames for less important “B” frames. Such a scheme results in better video quality. Copyright © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
