Interoperability and process automation are two major problems in realizing collaborated simulation in a net-centric environment. In this paper, we propose a scenario driven architecture to solve these problems. By retrieving 5"W" element from simulation scenario, a data exchange model is generated for promoting interoperability between federations. Meanwhile, the COA (Course of Action) element of the scenario is used to generate the simulation instance lifecycle model which can be used for automating simulation lifecycle. Applications show that formalized simulation scenario enables interoperability between different federations and lifecycle automation of net-centric simulation. |
