Abstract | ||

We propose a novel multiband tunable optical filterstructure based on an Opto-VLSI processor. Tunabilityfor each band is achieved by controlling thesize and shape of holographic diffractive grating generatedon the Opto-VLSI processor. Results for an experimental3-passband tunable filter are presented indicatingover 25dB of dynamic range and passband bandwidthof 2nm. |
