1. ABSTRACT The technique using multiresolution models is one of the research efforts to render complex virtual world in real-time. It is desirable for a multiresolution model to preserve the prominent visual features. In this paper, we present a mechanism that generates the multiresolution model in real-time. Our model incorporates the so-called view dependent features directly into the model generation process.
