Abstract | ||

In this paper, we consider video multicast over multi-hop wireless network with dense nodes, which could be applied on for example video streaming. We followed the cross-layer design framework, and focus on joint rate (application-layer) and flow (transport-layer) adaptation scheme to exploit the flexible rate provided by Scalable Video Coding (SVC) over CodeCast aided routing. The proposed scheme is capable of increasing the network resource efficiency as demonstrated by simulations. |
