Title
E-Arithmetic: non-visual arithmetic manipulation for students with impaired vision
Abstract
In this paper we present a web-based system that enables children with impaired vision to handle basic arithmetic knowledge: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Taking into consideration the accommodation of varied levels of vision disability - minor to severe - the new system provides an electronic auditory alternative to the currently used tools.
