Title
A Parametrizable Design of the Mechanical-Neural Transduction System of the Auditory Brainstem
Abstract
We present an implementation of a key component in the auditory brainstem present in mammalian - the inner hair cell -. This cell is a key component in the mechanical-neural transduction system of the auditory brain. The cell will be implemented in VLSI technology using VHDL language, with parametrizable characteristics. Furthermore, details of the cell structure and issues about design will be given.
