Poster: In silico microarray algorithm: Accurate and fast taxonomic profiling from short read sequences |
Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
We here propose a novel algorithm that can accurately estimate taxonomic composition of microbial communities from massive amount of short read sequences (60 -- 120 bp). Our accuracy evaluation based on simulated datasets demonstrated that our method achieves much higher accuracies than previously proposed methods including Taxy, Qin's method and RDPClassifier.
