Abstract | ||
---|---|---|
Third-party payment systems have potential to provide high-volume and low-cost goods, and services for a wide variety of web-based applications. We propose a new model, BulaPay, a third party payment protocol characterized by off-line processing, suitable for charging goods and services. Third-party payment systems must provide a secure, highly efficient, flexible, usable and reliable environment, the key issues in third-party payment systems development. Therefore, in order to assist in the design of a third party payment model suitable for web-based application in the pacific region, we compare and contrast two popular third-party payment models in this paper and outline a new scheme - BulaPay we are developing that addresses the disadvantages in current schemes. |
