Presentation based meta-learning support system tightens learners' evaluation criteria |

In this paper, we propose a presentation-based meta-learning scheme. First, we introduce support functions that we embed into the system. Secondly, we conduct experiments to verify the meaningfulness of our learning scheme. Our results suggest that the system can stimulate learners' reflection on their learning processes; that is, they tightened their evaluation criteria for their own learning processes and understanding states. Furthermore, the system was shown able to stimulate learners' meta-learning communications and to facilitate change in their learning processes. Finally, we introduce a conceptual gap problem and embed a new support function to overcome the problem. |
