In this paper we present a system for assisting the surgeon in planning and executing computer assisted interventions. The system named SCAS (Surgical Computer-based Assistance System) allows the surgeon to use multimodal data and innovative surgical tools for planning and executing of accurate and safe surgical procedures on human joints by arthroscopy. |
