Title
Non Linear Rule-Based Convolution For Refocusing Using Adaptive Thresholds
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to efficiently enhance images, which involves not only sharpening an image but also smoothing it at the same time to suit the different areas of an image as needed. This method develops efficient algorithms in the spatial domain to focus an out-of-focus image by employing adaptive thresholding for smoothing and sharpening in a manner that is not too computationally expensive. The results show that such an adaptiave method yields a better image with better focus.
