The timing synchronization design for OFDM systems has attracted a great deal of attention from both academy and industry. Recently, the multiple input multiple output OFDM (MIMO-OFDM) technique has become one of the hottest research topics thanks to its high data rates. A novel time synchronization method for MIMO-OFDM-based WLAN is presented. The approach mitigates the ambiguity from the cyclic shift for multiple transmission chains of IEEE 802.11n standard. |
