Title
An Analogy-Based Effort Estimation Approach for Mobile Application Development Projects
Abstract
In this work we present a conceptional approach for effort estimation of mobile application projects. The effort is estimated using an empirical analogy-based process and a component-based functional size measurement of the application. Impact factors on the total project effort are thereby derived from popular estimation methods and enhanced for mobile projects. The approach is to be implemented in a web application and validated with real projects subsequently.
