Title
Linear Parametrically Varying MPC for combined Quality of Service and energy management in Web service systems
Abstract
Quality of Service (QoS) and Energy Saving (ES) are complex and crucial problems in Web service systems. In this paper, the combined management of the QoS and ES trade-off is solved via an LPV Model Predictive Controller, complemented with a state observer. The controller is designed based on an LPV model of the Web Service dynamics, identified on experimental data. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is validated via both time and frequency domain simulations.
