Bringing closer women to engineering: projects and strategies that promote their inclusion
Abstract
There is a problem with the number of women who study engineering nowadays. To solve this problem, several projects and strategies have been carried out, in and out of Spain, by Universities, Secondary Schools, Institutes and, even Companies. This paper deals with these projects and reviews the related data about the women and engineering degrees. At the end, we describe a set of proposal or initiatives that could improve the current situation. This proposal includes the \"empathic co-creation\" that would take place from primary education.
