Title
Integrated Surround & CMS Automotive SoC
Abstract
There is an increasing trend to reduce number of discrete Electronic Control Units (ECU) to simplify Vehicle E/E topology and lower system cost. This paper presents an integrated Surround View (SV) and Camera Mirror System (CMS) using TDA2P-Texas Instrument's vision SoC. This paper gives system partitioning of hardware resources at board and within TDA2P Vision SoC level. The paper also delves in to the software architecture to realize combined applications accounting challenges of functional safety., performance and ease of use. The proposed solution enables 4 Channels of 2MP surround cameras along with 2 Channels of 1MP of CMS cameras with headroom in SoC for customers to add their own differentiation.
