Title
Utility-based resource management in an oversubscribed energy-constrained heterogeneous environment executing parallel applications
Abstract
•Heuristics were designed for maximizing the utility earned by parallel tasks.•Energy-constrained heterogeneous oversubscribed environments were studied.•The heuristics and techniques were analyzed and evaluated using simulations.•The relative performance of the heuristics was validated using a real experiment.•The new heuristics are able to significantly outperform existing techniques.
